A high quality third tier firm is seeking a partner with a background in tax consulting. This is an excellent opportunity to join a CBD based Chartered firm servicing blue chip SME clients and high net worth individuals.
The position would be suitable to a person with a high level of tax knowledge plus the capability to manage high end client relationships and a small team of professionals.
You will ideally have a Law Degree/and or Masters of Taxation and have had several years experience as an advisor in high level tax issues. This may suit a practitioner(s) with a small existing base of clients seeking to selectively expand their business through the access of blue chip SME's and high net worth individuals.
This exciting partnership role will enable you to advise and assist on a broad range of taxation issues including, acquisitions, divestments, financings, and corporate structure and compliance obligations as we as a variety of business service matters.

Responsibilities:
- Management of all aspects of the practice.
- The provision of high level tax advice to clients.
- Coordinating accounting and tax staff in managing the business service and tax compliance obligations of the clients.
Experience and Technical Competencies:
- CPA/ ACA/Law Degree/ Masters of Tax etc
- Minimum 10 years working experience in a Big 4 accounting firm and / or large corporate
- Very Strong Australian technical tax knowledge
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- A creative thinker with an ability to devise alternative solutions to problems
