Our client, a reputable Accounting Practice, located in Newcastle, are currently seeking a Bookkeeper, with experience in a public practice accounting firm, to join their team. You will need good MYOB and Excel skills, and will be responsible for the following (experience in all or most of these areas desired):

• Sales & invoicing
• Creditor purchase invoices
•  Receipts and banking (cash, cheque, EFT, credit card)
•  Payments (cash, cheque, EFT, credit card)
•  General journals as required
•  Month end reconciliations
•  Financial reports as required 
• Comply with BAS/PAYG responsibilities (and lodgement if required)
•  Prepare payroll tax
•  Liaise with external accountant 
•  Payroll
