Our client, a highly profitable and steadily growing chartered accountancy practice based in North Sydney, is seeking to appoint a senior accounting professional to join the firm on a structured and transparent equity pathway. This is a strategic opportunity to step into a future leadership position within an established firm with strong financial performance, recurring organic growth, and an excellent team. One of the founding partners is looking to scale back in the medium term, creating a well-defined path for the right person to join, integrate and acquire equity.

The client base includes a broad mix of dynamic SMEs and private business groups across multiple sectors, many of which have experienced significant expansion. The team comprises a capable mix of Australian and offshore staff, supported by robust systems and an internal culture that emphasises quality, relationships, and commercial insight.

One of the founding partners is looking to scale back in the medium term, creating a genuine opportunity for a new equity partner to step in, contribute strategically, and grow their stake over time.

Ideal Candidate:

• You’re currently a Senior Manager, Director, or Principal in a public practice, and feel ready to take the next step into equity.

• You have a loyal portfolio of clients that value your advice and would transition with you (size and mix flexible).

• You are experienced in business services and tax compliance, with a strong commercial advisory capability.

• A CA-qualified professional with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in Australian public practice.

• You build trust quickly with business owners and enjoy developing client relationships beyond compliance.

• You’re a natural leader, looking for a firm that values autonomy, team culture, and integrity.
