An opportunity for a bright and ambitious CA or CPA to head up the new office of a quality CA firm setting up offices in Newcastle. The position offer a tremendous amount of autonomy with the opportunity of being fast tracked to partnership.

A tremendous opportunity to gain a position in a leading firm with the prospect of being fast tracked to partnership. The firms is seeking a CA or CPA who is seeking to become part of a dynamic rapidly growing firm.

The firm is seeking an experienced practitioner to lead a small team and develop further a client base of $500-$1M. Based in a new and very professional office environment, you will be working with a team of relatively young partners and senior management to develop and grow the business.

Responsibilities:

• Business tax compliance, planning and advisory work.
• Management of a portfolio of tax clients.
• Proactive tax planning for corporate and investment clients.
• Business development.
• Growth and management of the Tax team.

Who we're looking for:

Essential Criteria:-

• CA or CPA
• 7+ years experience dealing with clients as an adviser in Chartered or CPA practice environment
• Excellent Client Relationship skills
• Strong technical and strategic skills in providing corporate tax and business services advice to a broad range of businesses
• Good business acumen
• Confident, capable, good in dealing with client issues and in ensuring the achievement of client goals

You should enjoy working in a proactive environment and have a flexible working style which can anticipate future client requirements. Also the ability to build relationships with clients and identify opportunities for the Practice is key to this role. You should have the ability to motivate staff and co-ordinate and lead a team.
